In our recent trip to the Junkyard I picked up a steering rack.  The unit was traded in at the junkyard by someone and that person mentioned it was from a Terminator Cobra. 

Due to the popularity of these racks being put in Foxbody Mustangs it is very easy to find the correct code online.  The 03-04 Cobra steering racks are stamped with SPR ZM. Seems pretty cut and dried doesn’t it?  

Well… take a look at what is stamped into this rack. 

I hit the stamping with a sharpie to help make it stand out.  I see the SPR, but what is that after it?  Anyone else know?
