I tried to buy a used Lakewood bell housing before trying to save a few pennies only to find out that the part wouldn’t fit the transmission I had planned to use. So I bought the wrong one.  Goes to show you that you need to do research before buying used parts.  No one’s fault but my own there.  Luckily I found a buyer and was able to get my money back.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago and I was able to score a Quicktime bellhousing for $660. This one weighs less than the Lakewood due to it’s “spun” design and is SFI rated just like the Lakewood.

This Quicktime bell housing is suited to fit both the T5 transmission and the Tremec.  This is good news because I’m positive I’ll be upgrading transmissions in the future if all goes as planned.

Pulley Cost – $660.00

Total So Far – $6982.09
